Need to get a good set of tires for winter. What do you guys run for a winter/snow tire? Im thinking about a set on bfg A/T KO or Nitto Terra Grapplers. Need a good set because I got a 2wd this year.

On a 2wd diesel truck, this is the only tire you'll find that will work at all:

If you want a great E rated tire that is great in the snow, it's hard to beat the Duratracs. The A/T KO's suck, the Nitto's suck, and the Cooper STT's are nothing great either.

I'm strictly talking about street driving in the winter. Off road, those tires would all function fairly well, but on icy/snowy pavement its hard to beat the Duratracs. Trust me, winter in Alberta is no joke...

Snow? Oh yea, that white stuff that we see sometimes. Almost as rare as rain
around here.

I ran a set of the howler mt tires from treadwright. Very awesome in the snow. My uncle put a set on his plow truck and only needed 4x4 when we got a wet sticky heavy snow.... lasted about 50k too..
