since i havent filled out my profile or tags yet, its a late 99 f250 cc 4wd with a ZF6. basic edge evo programmer(i know, but it was free)
6" donahoe susp lift and turning 37's
hope thats enough info for now...
long story, but on zf6 #2 right now
internal transmission cooler blew up inside radiator and transmission fluid and coolant swapped places a long while back
been nursing it for a while now, regularly changing tranny fluid, with some grinding while shifting....ended up losing 2nd gear a little while back, kept up with the double clutching, skipping second and still getting some grind
today i lost first gear, thank God for granny, its a pain, but getting me around will get me home.
both 1st and 2nd will go in like normal, or without pushing in the clutch, just nothing there when i let off the clutch
while idling i can put it in any gear(outside of 1st and 2nd, where it goes in like the clutch is depressed) and get a grind not touching the clutch pedal
not real sure what to do right now...pretty sure im gonna need a new clutch/flywheel(hydraulics seem to be fine), along with rebuild.
just not sure if i need to go re-man or rebuild.
yall know if these symptoms indicate a high dollar rebuild?
thought the truck was paid for, but i guess not!!
