2015 F250 GVWR Help


looking at a 2015 F250 4x4 CCSRW with GVWR of 10,000 with 3.55 and according to this 2015 Ford Super Duty | View Towing Specifications | Ford.com you can tow a gooseneck trailer that is 23,500 ?
Is this correct? or is 23,500 the weight of truck , trailer and load?


Reason why I ask I have a 22.5k trailer.

I believe that is combined weight, But I am going to guess whatever your trailer is will have considerably too much pin weight for an F250. That being said I pulled my 20k lb enclosed with 3,800lbs of pin weight in my 08 f250 for the last two years. I would not buy a truck based on that. I just purchased my new f350 know I was still going to be slightly overweight.

2015 Towing guide says 16,200lbs max trailer weight for F250 CC 4x4. 23,500 is the GCWR.
