Just installed my B&W Gooseneck and have my Companion, now starting to look for a camper.Trying to figure out how much I can tow. I see with 4.10s capacity goes up significantly, I am open to going to 4.10s.

What can these trucks tow in the 5th wheel configuration with 3.55s? With 4.10s?

In the past it tugged 16 reguraly now it's in semi retirement... Unless
Rykan tells me it "needs" a turbo and sticks this week then it's game on
Lol could get real fun real fast

I've grossed is in the 24-26k range a couple times with a GN on my OBS, 4.10's. Not sure what's legal though, seems like i found some specs a while back that said a DRW F-350 was rated to tow 13k.

Here is a guide:

I've towed 22k with 3.55s but I have the HP to do it. The more HP you have, the less gear you need.

I would also check pin weight vs the rear tire capacity. I run 285s "E" rated tire which have a capacity of 3750ea x 2 = 7500lbs. If I had the stock 235s which are rated at 3042, I would have been over.

And get yourself some airbags for the rear.

I definitely want more HP but that will come later.

Based on your CAT ticket isn't that more of towing about 13k if the OBS weighs 7k?

I've grossed 32k in my obs dually, it pulled it but not happily. I gross 14-26k daily and it does fine. No chip in it.
