DIY DPF Delete Pipe?

Would it be possible for me to make my own DPF Delete pipe? Im lookin a buyin a newer 6.4 and was lookin into dpf delete pipes. Now I have a BUNCH of 5 inch exhaust pipe layin around and I figured i could probably just drill holes, do a little fabrication and fit the sensors into the pipe. Is there anything special about the delete pipes you buy or are they basically just the same thing as what im talking about doing? I might be way out of line but i figured it cant hurt to ask.

you could make one...I like how mine fits and the ease of doing the swap in a short period of time

I Built one of the first dpf delete pipes which also deleted the cat, It was a pita to do it where it would still be removable and get the right thread pich on the bungs. Now that dpf/doc pipes are available for cheap id recomend just buying one.
