DIY upgraded egr and oil cooler install

I am going to make an attempt to install my upgraded egr cooler and oil cooler myself. Is there any tricks, tips or hints I should know about? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Patience, allow plenty of time, and most of all loosen the left side up pipe and leave the right one loose till the turbo is lined up. Oh and spray uppipe bolts with penetrating oil nightly till you do the job.

Time is not an issue and I'm going to spray those bolts and the turbo mounting bolts too.

Don't worry. It's not that bad of a job, a little intimidating at first but after that it's all down hill.

Which upgraded EGR and oill cooler did you go with?

I went with sinister for the egr cooler and Ford oem oil cooler.

Its also not bad idea to get the intake hot tanked while its off.

Ok all done. Drove it over 100 miles and no issues. Successful installation. Thanks for all the help.

Nope just make shure you have a 21 and a 22 mm wrenches for the fuel likes and some t torxs bits. Like a t27 and a t40 and like six ohh said patience is key. And keep everything as clean as possible.
