I put the D60 in the truck, and with the swaybar, it's got to be one of the best mods I've ever done for a day-in, day-out improvement.

But, I noticed I'm feeling a lot more of the road in the wheel than with the TTB, and quite a bit more than I'd like. So, I want to put a dampner on. But, I don't know where the brackets go. Could someone with a stock OBS F350 take a few pictures of the dampner and associated brackets and their locations for me?

I am also interested in this. The 97 Dana 60 I have has the spot for the stud and rubber bushings on the passenger side spring mount but that is it. Who makes a nice stabilizer that does not rust and look like crap right away.

Could you post a pic of the mounting hole? I'm not sure my truck has it.
I had to drill holes for the swaybar link mounts since my frame didn't have any.

I got mine through autozone so far so good and its been on there a year ill see if I can get some pics posted

Please!!!

I will take a photo for you this afternoon. Hopefully it will not rain so I can sandblast it.

Check everything for tightness.....I was having a similar problem then changed the shackle bushings and tightened down the track bar and it feels much better.

I finally got a dampner put on. It is a Gabriel from autozone. Took a little doing to get it centered so I have full range of steering, but nothing too bad.

I do like this. It took out a lot of the jerking of the wheel going over bumps and potholes. Now my wrists don't hurt after a few railroad crossings. You still feel a little of the movement, but it is much gentler and not near as harsh.
Definitely a good addition to a D60.

I had to make my own mount. It wasn't hard. 1/4' plate and a little time made a nice mount.

I used #136 stainless u-bolts from my local True Value hardware store. They were in the plumbing section IIRC. Their stock number 9222430.
Rubberizer undercoating is what I painted the bracket with.
