What size potentiometer do I need to do the mod. Everything I search is for a 6.0 or 6.4

You just need a resistor. All work is under the dash next to the driver kick panel.

A resistor is a set rpm. A potentiometer would allow him.to change that rpm exponentially

Like jcain said I want to use a potentiometer so I can adjust the rpm just trying to find the resistance range needed

No problem. Got another question though. All radio shack has is a 100k pot and I believe the pcm has limits to the rpms so this should work right?
