Rear Driveshaft Question

K, so today I broke a rear u-joint, and when it broke it took the driveshaft with it. So my question I got is: what trucks can I look for at salvages for a new rear piece of my rear driveshaft. My truck is a SCLB 4x4. I assume any 3/4ton+ truck 80-96 gas or diesel will work. Anybody know for sure?

How bad is the driveshaft? I would probable consider going to the driveshaft shop around you and having it fixed or one made as an option. They can replace the end for instance.
