you can run water in there, so i dont see why it wouldn't work

I thought there were sensors in there that made sure you didn't just put water in it.

how long does a tank last? i may be out of line here, but if a person can afford a 60k+ truck, are $40 fillups of urea really breaking the bank?

Southern Jersey is pretty sparse on truck stops and all the auto stores (Pep Boys, Advance Autos, and even Napa) looked at me like I had 4 heads when I asked for bottles of DEF/Urea fluid. So Ford was a sure fire stop for me.
But as stated earlier, $40 isn't even a bad buy and my tank lasted 6100 miles. I'm definitely not complaining with that.
