Installing hydraulic disc brakes on a trailer and need to decide on a pump unit, here are my 4 choices:

ActuLink ACT-1600

Dexter K71-651-00

Carlisle Hydrastar HBA-16

Titan BrakeRite

I have no experience with any of them. If anyone has feedback on these it would be appreciated. Price point is not an issue, quality and reliability is.

I did notice that in the manual for the Carlisle unit it does not like to be on for long periods ie braking stopped in traffic. The Dexter manual did not mention this and I couldn't find info on the other two. I'm sometimes stopped for 20+ minutes up and down hill in traffic. Seems like it would be a pain to put the truck in park and set the brake just to keep the actuator from overheating. Or is this not something to really worry about?

I have a Titan on mine and it has been flawless. It supposedly has the fastest response time, I notice NO lag on mine.
