What all is involved in swapping a ZF6 and a 4R100 input shaft in the t case? Do you just take the gears out, replace input shaft and put them all back?

Gotta link for a write up?

Yes, When I swapped in the auto (had a zf-6) It was a direct swap. Just had to buy new seals and have either a donor t-case or new shaft.

It was a little bit of work tearing down two t-cases but I believe no special tools where used.

There is a number on the seal. I honestly cant remember every detail. It was 3 years ago, I believe its the main input seal for lack of a better term.

As far as the column everything is simple. Actually that was the easy part. If you have a donor truck its not to bad.

Your lucky because the hump for the zf is a bit larger than the auto trucks.

Pm me if you have anymore questions, I can give you my number for any in depth stuff and Ill try my best to answer.
