I really wanted the new M275 axle under my truck and of course, the PowerStroke. Pretty much every option....now the wait...

Mine came quick. Feb 8 ordered, showed up Saturday night at the dealer.

Sounds like the builds are getting quicker. Took me 124 days from day of order to arrival

My dad ordered his 450 on November 2nd. Should have it by April 4th.

His is about the longest wait I've heard of. I'm guessing it was something to do with the 450's and the options he got.

I just hope the F-350 I ordered rides as nice, or close to, the F-250 I test drove....

Flash

I test drove several 2017 F250's before ordering my 2017 F350 SRW. The F350 SRW has a higher rear spring rate than the F250 and it does feel a little stiffer in practice imo. However that's not a negative. The frame is dead nuts solid and truck has zero rattles. Just feels nice and tight to me.

I agree 100%, I just picked up my f350 with the hd package. It rides almost better than my 15 F150. Clearly the front isn't as planted, but that frame is so solid.

I ordered the F250 with the high capacity package and it came with the m275 rear end and it rides just as smooth as one with out it. These trucks are balanced out good great for a smooth ride. It rides way better then my 12 I traded in with camper package. Heres a photo of the rear end you can definitely tell its up graded. The axle tubes are larger.

Just out of curiousity, why did you go with the F-250 and the High Capacity Tow Package, instead of just getting an F-350? I ran into the same question and chose the latter....I'm curious as to why you made your decision?

Thanks,

Yeah you need to get camper package to get swaybar. I went with a 250 instead of 350 due to having a f350 drw. And insurance is more on a f350 then 250 that's just in my case might not be for everyone. And this is also just my opinion when I think of a 1ton I think of a drw truck.

I believe the F350 still has higher spring rate and the 11,500 gvwr vs F250 high capacity which is still 10k max GVWR. When I priced them out it was less than $100 more for the F350. Seemed like no brainer.
