Removing emblems for paint

For those of you that have already done their paint to match, I assume the back emblem is 3m adhesive, the front grille is clips, and the side emblems are clips but I'm not 100% sure and I dont want to risk scratching or damaging anything trying to get these off.

Does anyone have any tips or basic how tos?

The sides are just clips, not much to it. Steady pull.

Once you get the grill off you'll see what you need to do.

The clip on the third brake light with camera took the most time for me bc you can tell it's just gonna snap if you pull the wrong part lol

not taking off the third brake light thankfully, just doing these three areas. Then probably do the bumpers next.
