Is it normal for the oil pan drain plug to go bad? It is leaking a small ammount out of it. Loosened it up some and then tightened it back down but it is still slowly leaking. Thanks guys!

Replace the copper washer and it won't leak, well shouldn't. If it still leaks put done thread sealant on it as well. The copper washer needs to be replaced everytime, sometimes you can reuse it. Hope this helps.

I've reused mine every time and I have 9 oil changes on it with no issues. But am thinking for the next change going to the fumoto valve and never have to worry about it again. But like shane said replace the copper washer and see if that helps. If not then your oil pan might have flexed
