Heater blend door issues

Is it a comman issue with these trucks for the blend door to be weird with the position it should be in vs. the position it is in?

That is pure electronic so I dont know how it could be off. Unless the knob is just on wrong and you arent where you think you are.

Well somethings not right, I get flow out the defroster on every setting except panel only and the flow changes with fan speed.

yes, it is unfortunately common... dodges have blend door issues too

the old tried and true cable and lever setup worked too damn good for too many decades

Ok I just wanted to know if it was a general thing and not a just my truck issue.

This is interesting! I figured the electronic hvac controls were superior...gotta be better than the vacuum :doh:

a vacuum canister and lines are a lot easier to deal with and trouble-shoot than servos and stepper motors IMO
