Retrofit heads AND fogs completion pics.

Couple more pics of how things look. PM DCCustoms here, dc-customs.net or DCCustoms on Facebook for info and parts list. After the retrofit this is completely plug-n-play on the wiring.

So...here's how they look. Bi-xenon projectors top and bottom. 35 watt ballasts.

Lows and highs from the front. No way to get a high beam pic...just too bright.

Did you do the retro fit yourself? Just getting the parts from somewhere or have someone else pop the head lights apart?

I got everything from Dan and did it myself. He and I batted around the idea of doing the fogs and he came up with a projector that will fit and the wiring to make it all work. He wants to sell them obviously so we had to have wiring that works. People don't want to cut and splice crap together. This is straight plug in and a few battery connections.

Looks really great. Please post more photos of the entire truck in the daylight. What should a guy expect to spend to do both sets like this? $2K?

It's time consuming but not difficult at all. It's a "one shot" deal so I went slow and made sure I didn't miss anything.

Man I don't know if I want to do mine myself, I really want projectors top and bottom on the head lights with some halo's for turn signals, but not sure if I trust myself to do that. Do you cut the lights at all to instal the projector or does it just drop in and click in somehow.

Also, do these affect your radio when the are on? Right now I get nothing but static with my LED's

problem with projectors (not dummy) in the top is that there isnt really a way to aim them.

I've haven't ever done any head lights before so I'm speaking from zero experience but couldn't you put the headlight in the truck with the front cover off, adjust them to where you want them and the reinstall the front cover?

You can I'm sure but there's no adjustability built in. The problem with running a separate high beam is the time it takes to warm up when you activate it. A bi-xenon projector is the way to go for hi/low function instantly.
I just wanted it in all 4 lights so Dan and I figured it out.
It's a phenomenal amount of light too...the high beams are ridiculous when that shutter drops on all 4.
I think the only way to get more light than this is LED pods or bars and that's just screwing everyone you meet head on. I like seeing....I'm not into blinding people.
I haven't been flashed one time and my commute is mostly 2 lane roads with both ways being in the dark this time of year.

You have to do some minor surgery with a dremel but nothing hard.
No interference issues either. No induced noise, no flickering of anything. It's perfect.
