Well I've had my truck for a few years now.
Was digging through my pics and Have a nice little history built up now.
Figured I'd share since this is the stuff I like to see when I'm rummaging around on here.
Here's how it was when I got it......mostly stock but had a spartan with DP and EGR delete.
After driving it like that for a ......short...... period of time.
It was time for head studs, springs, push rods, full exhaust.......The usual.
Drove it to a relative that had access to a lift and had at it.
Few pics of EGR and CCV gooey goodness.
Few pics of some goodies with along with a shot of the 72
Button it back up and boy did the 72/59 make a difference.
Super happy......But the little valve cover stud wasn't.
It broke and this was the result.
Next up, my steering wheel had seen better days.
And it's the one thing in my truck that my hands are on every time I drive it so I picked up a nice new one.
The 72/59 and spartan tuning was pretty good but I wanted an improvement in shift quality so I picked up some OUO traction bars.
I Was torquing down the U bolts when BANG !!!!
Yeah, I chit a bit.
Dave and Jared had another set of u bolts to me in 2 days !!!
Short to follow was an icon 2.5 level, some ATZ on BMF 20x9 with amp steps.
Life was good.....ran good, looked better.....
Then stk tranny had enough.
Tore it out, rebuilt it with new pump gpz clutches, all billet internals, solenoids, input shaft RCD converter.
Must of gotten a Friday at 4:50 new pump cause the bearing came out of it and sent trash through tranny in less the 3k
So with that I picked up a core tranny and proceed to swap parts.
Next.
Had an up pipe liner come apart and take out the turbines on the 72/59
