Non oem oil coolers

i don't recall the directions

usually, the hose is measured at the inside

if that's the garden hose then it will be obvious


i rigged up a filter from home depot because i felt the filter they use is too restricting IMO and this worked perfect for the hot water from the heater drain

and i had some clear tube that would fit right into the oil cooler cap orifice

While on the topic. Does anyone know who makes the oe coolers and who makes the dorman ones? I've been comparing oe, dorman, and grizzly. And they are all exactly the same even down to casting flaws

I do not know the MFg
Dormans big downfall was the gaskets turning to goo
but i have heard a rumor they fixed the issue ( Dorman is not fast at fixing known problems, cam phasers come to mind )

i have seen some images of the so-called " improved oil cooler next to a stock
