transmission issue

2000 f350 super duty 7.3l... put new t.c in and now trans (4r100) temps are getting pretty hot. around 210* ish. replaced t.c, bypass line, fluid and filter. what should i look at next?

Things to look for;
-what is the cooler output flow rate? Measure the flow over time in a bucket

-is the TC locking when commanded? When the TC clutch valve is commanded to lock, the oil flow is directed away from the clutch apply (keeps clutch unlocked) to the cooling circuit.

-What is the general condition of the trans? If the previous converter failed, it could have trash all through the system.

ok so figured out the heat issue the gauge was bad. put new one in and works fine. now started today driving home from work trans did high rev than slam into gear at low speed. wth could this be.
