I guess I've never shared the journey of my little war wagon here, which is strange cause I'm a pretty solid picture whore.

Gonna have to sort out some pictures from my laptop.

Had the stock-ish 2006 F350 Lariate FX4 SRW.

Got the rolled F450 service truck from work. one of the other guys flopped the spare truck in the ditch, with 55,000kms on it. Company is self insured, so I bought it from them.

Stripped it down, sold it out, kept what I wanted.

Decided to do my own set of 24" wheels. with 37/13.5r24 Toyo M/Ts. bought the 10 on 10 adapters from American Force. I have to say their service was top notch, from Florida to Canada in my hands 4 days after I put called and put the order in.

bought 6 new rims from a HD parts dealer in Calgary. They were on sale for $250 ea in the box. couldn't pass that up.

Cut the bead seats for LT 24.0" tires. opened up the center bores to fit the 10 on 10 adapters.

Got 6 tires - Used out of WV somewhere. for what 1 new one would of cost up here. So solid tires for the near future anyways.

minor tweeks along the way. swapped out the junk stock doorhandles, for a set of 4 solid aluminum ones. deleted all the lock cylinders as well. they're super solid in the doors now.

ok this will get a little out of actual chronological order here, but I ran it as a SRW truck for a time before I put the Dually fenders on and big rims. Got a set of 10on225 lug 20x11 custom offset steels from 1st Attach Brush Trucks. and ran 37/13.5r20 Toyo M/Ts. Just to buy some time to gather all the parts for the proper DRW change. It was crazy wide with the Super60 in the front on SRW rims. thats actually my the cuts outs are on the truck, I wouldn't have been able to turn. thats with a 6" lift as well. Still looked funny being 37s on 6" lift and still being wider than it was tall.

still have to rig up some proper mudflaps. 1 day driving in the snow melt........ I've got the giant meat curtain rock tamers for now. but its not good enough. and does nothing for the fronts.

Love your zombie machine, will have to bring it to the Alberta meet if we ever get one together
Where abouts are you at?

Ok so I knew the dimensions were skewed with a CC body on a EXT cab frame. But with a welder and a torch anythings possible right. Building new mounts isn't a big deal. BUT, in order to fit the cab down low enough to appear stock, I would have had to C-notch the rear of the cab for each of the frame rails to pass through where it sweeps up sooner than a crewcab frame. After some long hard eyeballing, and for the sake of not reinventing the wheel. We ended up pulling everything off the 450 frame, and putting it all up under the 350 frame. And moved the spring mounts, shock mounts to make it work this way. I work at a large mine now, I've got an eye out for a F550 crewcab truck to yank the frame from when ever they go to decomission one. I'll airbag and link the rear at that same time too.

Oh the engine, right....... So the truck got a warrantee shortblock in 2008 in Calgary AB, at Univeral Ford with the previous owner. I got it in 2010, studded the heads, deleted EGR, H&S tuner, Rebuilt FICM with PHP Atlas40 tune. shot gunned a pile of small parts undates as well. blue fuel spring, updated high pressure oil rails and stand pipes. turbo oil feed and return. updated oil cooler.

It's been running good, no complaints really. stock turbo and injectors. no real drive to jack it up anymore than that, mostly because I'm slowly building another engine for it. You Pureists out there might be pissed, but I'm assembling a 6.7L cummins with a DPE 13mm Ppump built by Seth. 5.5K governor, fuel benched at 950cc wide open, billet quick fill cam. Colt - stage 5 billet Cam. cut and coated pistons. got cryo'd 12v rods. If and when those have a problem, I'll have to go with monotherms and billet rods. But we'll see.

This is the slow build part of the process. Still wrangling parts one at a time.

Not much to look at there I guess. I did upgrade the alternator a couple years ago when I had the alt get cooked. Probably when the ficm got hurt originally. Got into a 165amp unit at that time. Replaced the batts and pigtail at the same time. No issues since on that front.

The red 12v I had in a '98 Chevy crewcab dually long box for a couple years with 22" Alcoas and 305/45r22 Nitto 420s. Wanted a better truck so.pulled the engine and drivetrain parted that truck out. Then bought the superduty. The blue one is a 2010 6.7L that was in a racetruck in the states. Hurt #6 hole a little. I got a good price on it, with out electronics or fuel system. Decided to step up my cummins program at the same time for the new truck.
