Good to see the turbo is still in good shape.

No reason that 464 can't spool well enough to do what you want it to do, hope you get it figured out!

It hasn't spooled since late '14. Just seemed to stop spooling. Figured I melted the turbine. Gonna try and figure it out with tuning and go higher stall with the converter. I shouldn't be having the issue with this charger. Especially when it used to spool

Do you monitor the drive pressure on each stage? You could be on to something with the wastegate..

Gonna change stators in the converter and see what Eric can do for me on the low end to give me back some injector rattle lol

Yeah, I'd definitely look into the possibility of a wastegate issue. maybe a back pressure sensor. Seems like I'm always replacing those on 6.4's.

I'll rebuild the jgs although there's not much to it as well as replace the ebp. Can't hurt and its cheap.

I wanna see this truck. MI isn't far from me. I need to get up there and see all the cool trucks up there.

I go to all the Michigan events and silver lake sand dunes. There's normally something going on every weekend.

Well been a while. Took a break from the truck as I was pretty fed up with it and was also building my house. Was having lockup issues with the new stall convertor as well as welding my intermediate shaft to the OD housing. Fixed it once and it happened again so the builder has made a mistake somewhere. Finally got the truck to my house so I’m getting some motivation to get back into it. I’ve figured out the lockup issue as we weren’t bleeding enough pressure off for lockup. Need to pull the trans and bring it to the builder to get the other issue fixed as it’s currently locked up. Dirt drag late October that I’m going to try and get setup for.

Ahhhh the big red beast does still exist. I'm happy to see an update on this after 3-1/2 years.

Haha oh yes. Been an eventful few years. Trucks been sitting for a year. Had it on a dyno and drove it around in 2018 but that was it. House took up a ton of time. Ready to chase that 10 second pass once the trans is done. It may get a manual VB. Not a huge fan of my PCS as I’m not the best tuner lol

Stoked to see this come back to life. Gives me some ambition again.

I need to come see this. Where are at in MI?
