DRW to SRW?

I have an 08 F350 DRW and I was looking in to converting it to a SRW and my question is what all would be needed to do the conversion, I understand that the 2008-2010 has a different bolt pattern and some mods to the back will have to be done.

05+ dually trucks use 8x200 bolt pattern. Pull the spacer off the front axle and the remaining studs will be 8x170. Find a srw 05+ sterling 10.5 rear axle and slap it in along with a new bed. Sell your old stuff and you'll most likely only be about your time. Or find someone with a srw that wants a dually and swap parts.

Any idea on how much the rear axles run price wise?

I've got one in my truck currently and been wanting a Dana 80? Just a thought if you wanted to work something out.

Or I've got a spare sterling 10.5 that I would almost give away for shipping but it came out of an 03 so the shock mounts would be differant.

1k-1500 bucks normally.

The 03 99-04 axles are narrower than 05- present so they won't work for him.

Here's a axle here. Never know, might be able to pick up the whole chassis use what you need and part out, scrap the rest.

Would the 8x170 studs be the correct length to run the OEM wheels?
