Ever find yourself having to change your serpentine belt and just shake your head seeing that you have to pull the radiator hose to do so?

If you answered yes then we have a fix just for you ......

Some do, some dont. It is supposed to be corrected when the next thermostat/water pump gets replaced by a dealer. A lot never went to get changed due to the fact everything is so reliable, and they rarely spring a leak. Mine doesnt...no need to fix it though. Wont worry about it until I need a new thermostat/ belt. Then swap to the new system. BTW, Tstat is a lot easier without a belt on....

That hose is not an updated part or anything, if you bought a 99-03 and had the dual alternator option, that would be your upper hose. It makes no sense, but that's where it came from.
You could also go backwards and put a 94-97 upper hose and t stat outlet on.
