Looking for an 8" lift for my 08 f250. You recommended Icon in the T-shirt thread but when I was researching it Icon only makes a 7" for an 08. Any other recommendations? I need it to not be too rough on roads like this...

This is the road to my cabin yesterday.
I'm going to run 37x13.50 on 10" wheels and I don't want any rubbing.

My 7 inch on my f250 doesn't rub with 37s. I bet it'll fit 38s. If you have to have 8" just get the icon 1" tei spacer for up front and a taller block for the back.

I'm running 37" toyo's on 22" super singles with 3.5 in lift with zero rubbing. Careful trimming plays a huge role.

So how much does the Icon 7" lift the rear of the truck? I like the rear to be higher than the front.

Whoever you order from should be able to get you whatever height you want. I've got a 7'' block in the rear of mine and the front sits a little higher than the back.

Zero rubbing when sitting and turning the wheel? Or bouncing in and out of a parking lot turning the wheel... You truck looks pretty good, just looks tight...

So you would feel good about handing your wife/girlfriend or whoever your key to your truck to go mob around on the dunes... LOL and no fender crunching is going to happen.

Everyones definition of rubbing seems to be different. For me, it means your suspension can fully cycle without touching anything but the ground. Other people it means that you can turn the wheel when you are stopped without touching.

I just knew you would make it in here... LOL

First of all, your photos are great! But to me it looks like everything is rubbing and you probably rubbed the entire time you were doing that... LOL

Show me some pictures up close with nothing touching. Just from some of the angles it doesn't look like you can even turn the steering wheel. Your steering wheel is pretty much straight!! One more thing, did you ever get your steering stops set? From what I remember your tires rubbed real bad on your leaf springs.

Alright for the average person an 8" will be fine if your gonna go out on the dunes or seriously wheel the piss out of it you would probably already know the answer to what size lift you need and you would probably want a better lift than just blocks just saying. I have 35x12.50's now and they look too small. and for your information mama don't drive my truck its not that easy to drive I got a construction cap on it and deep tinted glass lots of blind spots.
