So I just recently changed my oil and fuel filters. Ever since then I have been hearing this wierd random ticking noise. My water pump has been suspect for a little while. Any one lose a water pump and get a ticking noise? Fuel filter issues?

Except any of mine...

Lol right?

I've done dozens of services and never once had a tick....

Doesn't everyone say it's just normal noise that you normally wouldn't hear cause injection is so quiet on these?

It's definitely a new noise. Almost sounds like super hot headers are cooling off

Can't hear it while driving. Just noticed it at idle and is more noticeable when in a drive through when truck is up against a wall. It seems loudest from driver side wheel well. I will see if it's audible in a video. It literally was noticeable immediately upon start up after oil and fuel filter change

Yea that's definitely what the tsb describes it as. Says no action to be taken, it's just normal rotating assembly noise that you wouldn't hear except the combustion cycle is so much more quieter.

I still haven't heard a truck do it and don't know why it pops up after an oci... Maybe cause air gets pushes through system upon 'dry' start??

So nothing to worry about? And it still hasn't gone away a week later
