You have to use one of the ones out of the D P F, to get good readings. Those are a different design from the one in the EGR. I saved the other D P F ones and put them under my back seat. I just did that to have spares/not throw em away, incase/when the one I installed fouls out.
Yep, remove the probe and its pigtail from the D P F & plug it into the EGR probe's connector on the wire harness. I'm using "EGT Sensor 1" on my EZLynk btw.
