4R100 TC question

Hey guys, getting ready to install a new trans pan and mishimoto cooler on my 02...I wanted to get your opinions on drilling/tapping and 1/8”npt drain plug in my TC. Anyone have experience doing this or have you done it?

If you do it make sure you don't hit anything inside the converter when you drill, and rebalance the converter, too.

Thank you for your input, is there anyone on the boards who has done this? Or any other recommendations to draining the TC without pulling it?

Do you want to drain it, or remove the old fluid and install new fluid? If you want to change the fluid do this:
