Default codes p0100

hey all I have a 2014 6.7 that is fully ******d and has been for some time. today I got code p0100 for the mass air flow sensor and another code for glue plug controller communications. i did some quick searching and found that often fuse 36 is blown due too shorts in the box sensor or its wiring. i checked fuse 36 and it's not blown, the box sensors are off of mine since its ******d, looked at the wiring and found that yes it is corroded so I unplugged the 3rd connector on the pcm and cleared the codes and rechecked and it still has both codes. I figure if the problem was down stream unplugging the emissions harness it would of eliminated the corrosion as being the issue or am i wrong?

where would yall suggest I start?
