Sct 7015 question

Hey everyone I'm Dusty I'm new to the Fourm, I have just purchased a 2016 f250 crew cab short box truck, my question is our previous truck was a f150 with the 5.0l and I put the sct 7015 tuner in it and have taken it out for new truck, I'm looking at ******** the new truck and am wondering how to do that with my current sct tuner? Dusty you will learn quick that 11-14 are totally different than the 15-16 models when it comes to tuning. So everything you can read up on here make sure they are either talking about 15 or 16 models, which are exact same.

You will have a couple options on which company to do your tunes. Just read up on here and you will find every answer you need.

Ok sootie thanks, yes I have noticed that on the newer truck most things are dames but few are different too, where did you get your tunes done Texag56? And how dose it work do you send them the unit?

Sounds good, I have noticed being from northern BC Canada it's little harder to find stuff unless I buy online and deal with tons of shipping..

From what I understand Gearrhead is now out of Alberta. Not sure if its true or not but I have been very happy with my GH tunes and would reccomend them to anyone using a sct tuner

So yesterday I pulled in my 7015 to the truck just too see what it come up with, main menu is fine but if you try to load a tune it said unrecognized vehicle? Maybe it's only good for the 11-14 trucks?

Yes if it's programmed for 11-14 it will not work on a 15-16.

Were you sure to set your old truck back to stock? You cant use the tuner to tune more than 1 vehicle
