So I recently had a front cover changed and they changed my oil then. I used the pick up all summer towing my trailer and was changing the oil and noticed a little bit of metal on my drain plug magnet And small pieces in the filter. Nothing crazy but the truck only has 80k on it. I’m not sure what I should do? It is tuned and has I super high flow cat.

How many miles on the oil? If you still have the filter cut the top and bottom off and inspect the paper part of the filter for metallic particles.

Originally a front main seal but had some cavitation so was replaced and the oil pump housing was replaced at that time.
