What do you guys think of this kit, is it worth having or over kill.

Never overkill. If I lived in the east. I'd have one.

Been using one for quite awhile now with no significant reports. Most of my fuel stops have decent turnover on product. It does catch junk in the fuel since it's the first stop before the OEM filters. It's an investment in additional filtration so it's cheap insurance. You could run some other setup like an AirDog or Fass if you have future plans.
