Has anyone relocated their batteries to a different location other than stock? If so, could you provide pics, descriptions, or both of how you did it? Thanks in advance

Anyone at all? Even if its not a powerstroke... just some sort of idea what components to use etc. I'm pretty well set on using welding cable for the extension/relocation cables.

Ballostic fab mount in place of the spare tire.

For my truck we tucked them up in the frame where the spare tire was. We built a bracket that holds them up, using the receiver bolts to secure the battery cradle. We also use the spare tire lowering/raising cable to assist in changing the batteries out.

It's far from pretty but it has been working just fine for the past 7 years.

Not be naive but do you just mount the batteries where you would like, then run a new and bigger cable up to the factory power cables and make a permanent splice to them? Is there anything else that would need to change?

Completely replace stock cables.
Most of the time a splice will lead to corrosion. (If not done correctly)
I like that idea using the spare tire winch.
There's many boxes/mounts made for relocating batteries.
I have a flatbed, so I plan to mount mine in a underbelly tool box. (When I get some lol)
