2006 f350 upfitters not working

I’ve searched and read several things throughout the internet and checked all the fuses and whatnot and I still can’t seem to get the switches to work. They just won’t light up. I’ve only had this truck for 2 weeks, new Work truck for me. The previous owner had some lights hooked up to the switches, at least according to the labels they had on the switches themselves. I’m not sure what to check next. Fuse panel under steering wheel all looks good. Checked behind the glove box and looks fine as well. What’s next? There is also a cable that is attached to the bundle of wires that goes to the switches themselves that was cut and taped. Looks to be 3 or 4 wire in it but can’t tell for sure.
