cj4 getting hard to find??

So my Old man has an 04' 6.0, being the mechanic in the family its my job to make sure its getting the right shizz. (ugh)... currently has 5-40 delo. (my 6.0 always seemed to like it so that's what I got him runnin)

hes due for an oil change and its cold here in Utah so trying to stay 5/40, notice most everything at the store is starting to be ck4, and I know that a no no in the 6.7 but whats your take about in the 6.0?

I run jims le 5/40 in my 6.7, but... being that id feel scared taking a 6.o past 5k oci, just cause the oil is getting the crap kicked out of it.

Whadda yall think?

I runs jims unicorn piss at 5k intervals. Its the 15/40 8800, and last oil change he talked me in to the nonextended drain 8700. May wanna talk to him and see what he recommends.

I have a 05 6.0 switched from Delo5/40 to Jim's 8700. Was a little nervous about the cold starts but it starts just the same as when it had the Delo in it and is quiter, especially when warm. Only have about 500 miles on the oil so far though.
