Alright guys. Here is a new section for you to show off your skills, or the lack there of. This section is for you to post any project dealing with fabrication, being turbo kits, custom suspension, roll cages, bumpers, ect. A great place to post and show others what can be done in their own garages. Tell us what kind of metal you are using, type welder, style of welding, what your using to bend tubing, and so on. We look forward to seeing some awesome projects posted here. This section is not to be confused with the projects section, this is for metal work only. On your truck, side by side, quad, rock buggy, or even metal buildings. Basically, If your using metal to build something, this section is for you!

Thanks

My log splitter weighs about 700lbs and it's a pain to move around in the grass so I decided to take a 1/4 plate, a 2inch reciever and mount it on the back of the lawn mower, works perfect...

I finally got my boss to buy a new lead and gun and everything for it and its much better before I could hardly weld a bead 2" long without it popping and sputtering and ****.

Here's my bumper, 3" X 1" on part of the mounts, mostly 3/8" X 6" & 7" plate, all square tube is 1/4" wall, deck is 1/8" tread plate, and There is a little 16 ga. for trim, and 14- 1/2" X 2" grade 8 bolts. Welders used were a millermatic 265 MIG, and a Delta arc power source, can't remember the feeder on that one. .035 wire with 92/ 8 gas. feed set around 28V/ 395.

Battery relocation- Box itself is 3/16" with a 1" X 2" X 1/8" channel sub structure. And the massively oversized CAT batteries to go along.

Headache rack- bed rails are 3/16" broke out, outside of the rack is 2" X 4" X 1/8", light boxes are 10 ga., cross bars and upper rails are 1- 1/4" X 3/16" square on a diamond. I will have work lights bolted towards center on the light boxes.
The same welders were used in all of my projects.
