I have one with the brown laminate stock, and 22 inch gray, stainless barrel, with a 4-12x40 Bushnell scope on it.
Ive shot groundhogs at 95 yards with it, and starlings at 70 yards.
Indeed 77/22, it also has a Bushnell 4-12x40 trophy scope. Got this for my 15 birthday.

I also have a 77/22 hornet all-weather version with the heavy barrel. It also has a Boyds t-hole laminate stock, fully floated barrel, glass bedded receiver, shimmed/lapped bolt, and light trigger; topped with a 6-18x40 Bushnell trophy scope. It would clover leaf at one time at 100yrds.

I custom load for the hornet and my one beef with the 77/22 is I can't seat the bullets out like I would like with the box magazine style....the won't go in the mag.

The receiver is glass bedded, barrel floated, and trigger lightened on mine. Probably overkill for a .22, but sure does shoot well.
I found mine about 10 years ago when a widow was selling it. Her husband had bought it, never put a scope on it, and had a heart attack.
My older brother has one like the one in the picture with a custom trigger on it. I grew up shooting it, and had to find my own when he moved to Virginia.

My buddy got a valor award for saving a guy from jumping off an overpass. I had no idea what he was getting the award for when I attended (old guy in red shirt). We got to see the footage from his body cam too. Blew me away. He grabbed him right before he went over. Super stud and a hero. So proud of him and blessed to have him as a friend.
