So the time has come for new tires!
I’ve gotten 50k out of my 315/75/16 KO2s on stock rims, probably could get another 5 out of them. They’ve exceeded what I expected out of them for sure, wore pretty good at 50psi, but definitely wore in the middle because of the 7in wide rims.
Had 285s before that and wasn’t crazy about them.
In an effort to pick up some MPG, power, and turning ability, I’ve really been thinking of the 255 Toyo MT, just wondering if anyone has experience with 255s? Pics? Just concerned they’re gonna look stupid, I’ve got a 350 srw crew on a leveling kit

Ive been running the 255/85R16 Toyo MTs for years on my OBS. There are plenty pictures of OBS and SD trucks running that tire if you do a google image search...

Ran many sets of Cooper S/T 255/85-16s on lots of pickups and still currently run a set on my '95.

I love that size and I really wish there were more options then the price might come down a little.

I had 255s on my dually a while back. Not a single issue! Had a spacer between the rear tires but thats it.

I have run the Cooper ST/Maxx in 255/85/16 on my sig truck. I really like the size and the tires rode well and were surprisingly quiet. The issue was I only got 20,000 miles out of the set before I got to the wear bars.

I’ve heard really good things about the Toyo M55’s in 255. I might have to try a set next time.
