get a good cut off wheel and a grinder.. cut the stock down pipe before and after the trans cross member and after the muffler.. pop off the rubber grommets on the hangers and she will fall right off..

Assemble the exhaust....but not the tailpipe. Hang the tailpipe before you start. It'll be hangin all catty wompus but pay no mind. Do the downpipe next. It can be a mother***ker. Dont be too proud to use a bungee, tie wire, or strap to hold it up from the bottom. Get the vband connection made but not tight.

Then get under the truck, get mad and pick the exhaust up. Using your arms to make the down pipe connection, use your shin to hold the aft portion up. After getting the downpipe swallered slide on back and start making the hangers. If you need to get a 2x6 and a 3lber and beat the shti together until the hangers line up. Lastly lift the tailpipe and get it made.

Im sure I neednt say it but get the clamps on before you assmble. If not you cantake can take them apart but *bonehead move*

If you aren't planning on welding it together, I recommend getting the AccuSeal type band clamps.

Why?

If you think the exhaust is too loud just add a second turbo, that'll quiet it down!!

Because the ubolt clamps suck.
Also make it easier to take apart, if you ever need to.

You're one of the youngins? Lol I've got a decade on you.

I notice it more on road trips or when I'm where it bounces off everything. Either truck is bad at my dad's house in FL.... It's amazing how loud it is when you're inside the house- way worse than his 6.4. I never notice it that bad at my place in TN, but there are definitely times I am very aware of it.

Wish I was that young again. Time flies when I was 22 I was in the best shape of my life didn't take care of myself and now I might be going looking at mobility scooters soon. We'll now I'm depressed, how the hell did I even get to this point. Sorry about the derail.
