So I missed my exit...

Cut across the little median (forgetting that we just got an a$$load of rain) and felt the truck start sinking lol. Literally doing MAYBE 2 mph at this point.

No biggie, reached up and shifted to 4 high. "4wd shift in progress" on screen, giving it a little throttle as I don't want to completely stop and sink more, 4high light comes on dash, traction control light flashes, and BAM, let off the throttle, then back into it a little and BAM again, then drives like normal in 4 high.

Anyone experienced this before?

I have a couple times Nothing insane just a little bang. Maybe once at the drag strip too haha nothing to worry about. In the end technically it's a mechanical shift

Yet when driving down the road on the throttle as well it shifts just fine? Or is it because the tires were apinnning?
