I made a pickup bed trailer out of a 95 F350 (frame/bed)
It tows down the road nice,
But if I need to move it around the yard or turn it, It fights me...

Both wheels turn... I'm guessing this is a posi rear end or a locker ?
pretty sure it's a stock rear...

I haven't pulled the cover off yet to look.... but,

What are my options? I assume I can't pull the axles?
also the axle bearings need lube...

Can I disassemble anything inside the pumpkin to make the axles/wheels spin independently?

I'll try to take a pic of it today... and look for a tag.

Take the axles out, cut the axle shaft off and reinstall... Over fill the diff enough to bring the fluid up into the housing tubes... Just need to make sure enough oil is getting to the wheel bearings since the ring gear will not be spinning fluid around everywhere anymore.

Thanks Fellas.

I pulled the right side axle and cut it off.

Not the easiest thing to do by the way.

First I tried my porta-bandsaw
And quickly decided on the 4 1/2 inch cut off wheel.

I will do the other side when I get a chance.

Good idea on the overfill.

I just need to clean this thing up a little bit and paint it white.

Then slap on my matching wheel well flares.
