Thinking of installing 20x12's -44 offset w 305\50\20's on my '04 Excursion Psd , seeing as these trucks are roughly 2" lower than a 250 does anyone forsee any issues besides the usual trimming of plastics ? Any help and or suggestions would be great ! Thanks guys :toast:

Pretty positive Jeremy (upinsmoke) is on stock suspension. It looks killer too.

Yea, bone stock 3/4ton suspension. He said the inner fenxers had to be pulled back to fix.rubbing. Not sure on an excursion.

Having spoke with him at length last summer, I can assure you he has a 2k ec/sb f250 with STOCK suspension, no leveling kit. He told me it works 100% if you tie the inner fender liner back.

Since he has a truck and you an excursion his input wouldnt tell you much more. Go to.the search window at the top right of the page. Search for his username and pm him.

Basically they covered it. I have factory suspension, but I will say after having a plow hang off the front of the truck for many years my springs arent as strong as they used to be. My tires are also 325/50/20, so a bit wider. Wouldn't show much difference on a 12 wide wheel though.

Here is a picture of how much trimming I did. I have since cleaned it up so it doesn't look as bad. But it wasn't too much. The passenger side required no trimming in my case.

No worries - many of us run the 12" wheel around here as its hard to beat the look!

I would bet that the rake in the rear really helps the clear the tires in the front also. I had 16.5x12s with a 35x12.50 Swamper SSR tire on my crew cab, and it didn't rub as bad when I had a 1 inch rake in the rear. My truck had a 3.5 inch fabtech hanger lift to clear the 35s.

Here's a pic of my EX with I believe a 4inch lift.
325/65's (33in.) tires.
Don't mind the fat-azz in front :D
So that should fit fine on stock height.

Shot of the tire and well.

Awesome X man....

But it's the offset that makes it difficult to run a 12" wheel and not so much the tire height.

Thank you.
And true - I'm not sure what offset those rims are - they came with the truck when I bought it.
