Let’s play what’s that noise

Hey All,

I have this noise and I was hoping someone might have run into this before. Any Ideas? It does it most of the time but at other times it won’t do it too. Anyone have the same
Issue? What was the fix??

Not sure what we are listening for....

if its that tinny rattle, i would suspect an idler pulley.

Yes, that kinda squeaky rattle. I changed my stationary pulley but I will change my idler. Wonder if it’s the same part number? Got a spare one when I did the dual fueler...

FYI for everyone. Thought it was the AC compressor as you can hear the pitch change when the compressor kicks in. Decided to go with the cheaper alternative like Sootie mentioned. It was the adjustable idle tensioner just above the compressor. Just under 100k and she was ready to pile up...
