Hey guys have a customer that has a 2017 f-450 with tuning. After about 92mph he is getting some sort of driveline vibration. Has anyone seen this? Yes im aware about 4.30 gears and small tires. But his 2016 never vibrates at 130mph

I believe there's a tsb out for driveshaft issues on the 450s. Possibly even the 350s too. They are having issues with the driveshafts coming apart at high speeds

Ill ask tommorow and reply asap. I just figuered the dealer would try duplicating it since its high speed

I know with my 2015. I bent mine slightly from passing critical speed on my one piece shaft.

It’s NOT safe to run these trucks at that speed without making sure you aren’t passing critical speed.. bad things can happen. I upgraded to a 5in Aluminum DS rated for 165mph for my specific Truck (CCSB). Still have it as it’s going on my 2017.
