Bad Injector 2016

Is it possible to have a bad injector or injectors without a code or CP4? Im fighting with the dealer over my truck running loud like 7.3 injector loud not all the time, also lacks power and puts a vibration through the cab and rattles whatever is in the center console also regens every 250 miles with mostly highway driving unloaded. Once it is shut off for a couple hours it runs fine like it did for the first 9,000 miles. It makes a quick chatter everytime you start it and drive off but doesn't do it till the next start up. Also on decel it makes a similar noise till the speed gets low enough like 5 Mph you also can feel a vibration in the pedal till it stops. The dealer won't touch it till I have a code or they can replicated it but it never does it when we go out and they will only drive for 20 minutes, as for the chatter they say well it is a diesel which is a lame excuse. Never dealt with ford but so far disappointed in their warranty. GM always had fixed whatever was brought or atleast had the service engineer come and take a look.

this sounds like the valve clearance tolerance issue

No issues during regen its self like others had. But going down again tomorrow. Will update

Wow that's pretty crappy of them. You would think they would keep the truck for a few days and run it to try and replicate the problem.

You try a different dealer, sounds like the current one does not know what they are doing.

Doubtful it is "Ford" jerking you around, more so the dealer has a lack of knowledge.
