Can i make one suggestion on the steering? Take an intermediate steering shaft from a classic duramax or something and include it in your steering wheel shaft at full extension, somewhere on the straight portion of the shaft. This way if you ever by chance hit the wall straight on, it will collapse the shaft as it is designed to do instead of turning the steering shaft into a spear. Maybe you already have something similar inside the tube up near the firewall-i cant tell.

Thanks for the idea, i am putting 2 stop collars on the shaft to help with shaft coming through the column I case of impact. Hope that's enough!
