Oil Pan Gasket vs Gasket Maker

I have a 2016 250.
I have both a gasket and the ultra black maker.
Which is the better option?
Trying to never have this leak again and want it right.
Thoughts?

You want the Grey RTV

Hmm. Assumed since the black days for oil applications that was the right one.
Did not see anything like that printed in the grey.
Online does not seem to say much different about the 2 other than older domestic vs newer domestic.

Grey is from Ford and is absolutely the best RTV ever.

Is it gray death rrom the factory or a actual gasket?

11-14 upper pans had a gasket. 15 up trucks went to ford black (TA-29 iirc). But most techs and when we have had to do them we use gray.

This is what I went with.
I had in my hands at home a Gasket and black gasket maker. Went with the gasket maker.
