Still pretty damn bright. I think the amber lens will pull off. Haven't tried it. And yes helps more in the fog. Usually a fog light has a better cut off in height as you want the light down low.

Does it scale down the brightness?


A bit, but not much. Also with Baja designs, the lenses interchange, And you can even change the light pattern with a lens change.

Barnbuilder did you use your factory foglight pull switch or seperate switch? I think I may get me a set before I drive across country. Baja seems to out perform everyone else I've looked at.

Factory switch. The BD installation kit comes with plug and play wiring harness.

You won't be disappointed.

I got them from Mark @ Big Time Customz.

Are you not able to aim them downward? BD would probably have a few ideas.

I want to buy something brighter but I'm leery of blinding traffic.

KC HiLites has a direct replacement that's SAE approved so I'm tempted to think they use a proper fog light cut-off.

Yes I can aim them down more might help some. I think I'm going to change lenses. Of you go on the BD website they show the light patterns for all the lights they offer.
