I want to replace the mirrors on my 01 f350 from the old style to the 08-16 tow mirrors. The ones i got are power everything, can i take the controls from the newer trucks and plug it into mine to make all the functions work?

Pretty much, as long as you buy the mirrors with the correct plug...it's all plug and play.....only down fall is you would have to add if you wanted power fold and extend

did you buy used factory mirrors or new aftermarket? If you search the net you can find diagrams on the net. I bought 1A auto mirrors with the correct plug installed for power, but had to wire heat and power fold.
