codes not throwing a check engine light

so, I have an issue where I have no check engine codes and no rough running issues but if I check codes with the scan gauge it shows codes for cylinder contributions on cylinder 5 and 3. it also has the generic one for the egr ****** but I know why that's there. it has new injectors and I'm unsure if they were there before the injectors were done.

Clear them, run it and see if they come back

they do every time

I'm just not getting why it doesn't throw the light, and they have been there for at least 15k

Or not there because of the egr setting off the light all the time.

Soft codes and hard codes.. Very few codes trigger CEL.

light isn't burnt out, it lights on at start, I have an 03 so the ear code wouldn't pop a light a believe. I've heard of soft codes but have never had a vehicle with any before
